Why do we all let personal perspectives sway our intuition?
These unlimited thoughts without planned actions they hold no dominion.
When they’re good, well they’re good, inspiring to test.
But don’t let the bad ones distract you from your quest.
There’s a difference, you should know, when someone speaks to praise.
And a difference you should know, in an envious phrase.
There are people who are for you, with every good intention.
And there are people who in a jealous act, pitch irrelevant convictions.
But I want you to know, those words, they just don’t matter.
Don’t even use them as motivation to make yourself better.
It’s simply negative noise,
Someones unfulfilling void.
Reality is, they’ll gossip about you, so with themselves they are less annoyed.
These thoughts and people, give them no attention,
because in order to hurt you,
they need your permission.
When you go searching for something,
When your start finding yourself,
You’re are doing it for you, and nobody else.
And that kind of bravery makes stagnant people uncomfortable.
That kind of “letting go” makes the freedom incredible.
So screw what someone thinks.
Honestly who gives a damn.
If they’re aren’t inspiring you,
well then enough said.
Remember everyone has their own….. 2 cents opinion,
It’s really just words in the air, like.. one in a million…stick4
So you keep doing you, because they’re talking to taunt.
You’re a force to be reckoned with, no chatter can daunt.
But I’ll stop for now, because my ramblings can be continuous.
Remember though,
“What someone thinks about you… it’s out of mind, and it’s none of your business.”

Also these are just my opinions.

    1. Thank you for reading! I absolutely agree. In the past, I would truly let it haunt me. I would try to control the way people perceived me. I’ve learned that was like living in a prison. The mental freedom of not caring is so beautiful. Everyone deserves to live that way. Again thank you for stopping by Lavanya! I appreciate your words!❤

  6. I agree with some of what you say, but as humans we are inately social. When i see people claiming they dont give a shit, it wreaks of ingeniousness. Why would we even share our thoughts if we didnt care. This may sound negative but i believe we all create our own pretentiousness, and until we can let it go, i.e. write for yourself, not praise. It has never been about the words for me, its the language that blows me away

    1. Very well said! And thank you for reading! I definitely understand what your saying. As humans we will always seek some sort of acknowledgement and approval. It’s just how we function. I feel this writing best applies to -not being pressured to live up to someone else’s standards of what they expect from you..(if that makes sense!) I’m addressing the pressure from someone else to be something you are not, to think a certain way. I think when some of us say we don’t “give a shit” lol anymore, we are talking about those individuals/environments that are not building us to be the best us…you..lol The ones that don’t support you. We can’t let them affect our goals. At some point in our lives, (for many) we truly stop worrying about those individuals that are talking to hear themselves talk.The Gossip. It’s one thing to voice your opinion about something out of respect and the need to further understand, thoughts do matter then. Again thank you for reading and leaving such a great comment! I do definitely understand where your coming from! 😀😀

      2. I also think you are an amazing writer. Anyone in today’s society that actually takes time to sit and write about their feelings or just vent, I am so proud of. We need so many more people sharing themselves and their ideas
